LUMEN Dental Clinic – Your dental clinic in Viimsi – thank you, dear people of Viimsi.
On 2 May 2021, of our entire 28-year-old history, we celebrated the 20th anniversary of our clinic in Viimsi.
We have moved three times in Viimsi, each time we have improved and expanded our technology and diagnostic opportunities.
Our team has grown from 4 to 20 people.
In 2001, our first location was the former headquarters of the Kirov Fishing Kolkhoz located at Kaluri tee 5. At that time the building housed a bank, pharmacy, University Concordia, kindergarten, several beauty salons, shops, seamstresses, restaurants and offices. People were coming and going, cars filled the parking lot. The building was full of action. Across the road, there was a lovely kindergarten – Piilupesa – where children came to visit us as part of an excursion to see what the job of a dentist entails. This was largely the centre of Haberneeme, as Randvere road had no schoolhouses, kindergartens, shopping centres or the SPA building yet. There were no large residential areas either.
But as always, time goes on.
Eight years later, in 2011, we felt the need for a new clinic, which is why we accepted the invitation to join the Viimsi SPA family and we built our clinic there on the first floor of the building.
Soon after, the digital era of our clinic began, which is still continuing. Five more years went by until we realised that, in addition to the existing clinic, we needed a new clinic with a new concept where we would have space for our own laboratory, more room for our staff and a place in which to discuss treatment plans. In addition to all of these, we added well-equipped treatment rooms, a proper sterilisation room, a storage room and server rooms.
We started planning and gathering ideas, then we started the construction of the new clinic. It took two long years.
February 8 2018 was the happy day that we opened our new, much bigger and well-thought-out clinic in the newly constructed commercial building – Viimsi Äritare. We are located on the second floor, with views to the Laidoner Park. We all love it here, both the staff and the patients. There is a lot of light, space and beauty.
Our patients have continued to support us on this journey. Little children have grown into adults, their mothers and fathers are now grandparents.
The gratitude that we feel cannot be put into words. For almost seven years now, we have been calling ourselves “Your Dental Clinic in Viimsi”. We believe we deserve it and we highly appreciate the trust of our patients.
We promise to continue to develop, grow and be here for you. We want to listen, explain and help you solve your problems. We want to create beautiful and healthy smiles, so that the shortest bridge between people – a SMILE – could be on everyone’s face.
We think that this is both an obligation and a privilege. Only in cooperation with you – dear people of Viimsi – can we create value that is worth sharing and preserving. It is good to feel necessary.
